Why Delta Owl Eyes?

Rooted in the delta. Looking through more than one lens.

Delta Owl Eyes is an independent educational media initiative shaped by a connection to Bkejwanong (Walpole Island). Our name reflects the freshwater delta and the importance of examining issues from multiple perspectives.

We seek to learn from Indigenous knowledge and Western research while respecting community voices, permissions and attribution. We are not an official representative of Walpole Island First Nation.

Our purpose is to make important questions harder to ignore.
